In this article from the Washington Post about Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA), we learn that the institutional investment manager includes rocket scientists among its employees.  The article goes on to provide a glimpse into the objective, academically-based approach that DFA takes to investing.

Here's the money quote from the article:

The road to salvation is clear, according to DFA. Renounce your hubris, ignore the Wall Street marketing din, and invest in low-cost funds that capture the returns of asset classes that have performed well over time.
