True wealth
Good morning!
Hope you're having a great week.
If all goes according to plan, Elizabeth and I will be out of town for a short vacation by the time this email hits your inbox. Think we're heading to the Georgia coast for a getaway, but still haven't nailed down the details yet...
Will keep you posted on whether or not this comes together for us. 🤞
If you've been reading my emails for a while, you know that back in June, I went through a week-long training program from Money Quotient (MQ).
I could spend the next 2+ years of weekly emails talking about everything I learned during my training and in the time since.
However, today I'd like to give you a high-level introduction and overview...
Among other things, MQ offers a suite of tools that each fall into one of 4 categories:
Satisfaction and Values
Transitions
Biography
Goals
Here are the names of just some of the tools and exercises in each of the 4 categories.
Satisfaction and Values
Financial Satisfaction Survey
Wheel of Life
Personal Insights About Life Balance
Transitions
Life Transitions Survey
Personal Insights About Change
My Ideal Week in Retirement
Biography
Present Financial Life
Financial History
Personal Insights About Money
Goals
Personal Insights about Planning & Goal Setting
Visualize Your Future
Goals for Life
These tools, along with some other exercises and resources, comprise what MQ refers to as "True Wealth Planning."
In MQ's words,
"True Wealth Planning is a holistic process that puts your interests first and focuses on increasing your sense of financial well-being and life satisfaction. Initially, this process will help you to clarify your values, priorities, circumstances, and aspirations; and then guide you in defining and designing your unique version of the “rich life.” In addition, True Wealth Planning will increase your understanding of the habits and attitudes that will facilitate your financial and life goals and support successful life transitions."
Going forward, you'll be hearing more about some of these tools and their application in my work with my clients.
If you're a client, you're interested in learning more, and would like to dive in to this side of financial planning, hit reply or give me a call.
And if you're not ready to jump in, I'll be introducing them to you soon enough. 😉
If you're not a client, but would be interested in going through some of these exercises and having these conversations, please reply to this email and let me know. I'll invite the first 3 of you who reply that you're interested to walk through this process at no cost or obligation.
Be sure to hit reply and share your thoughts with me regardless of your situation.

We had an interesting conversation about her company which helps people move and/or downsize, often working with seniors and their families.
